Kingsport’s Fourth of July Celebration & Parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, kicking off at the Renaissance Center and rolling through town to its end point at the intersection of Eastman Road and Fort Henry Drive. This even will commemorate the 56th Mack Riddle American Legion Fourth of July Parade in Kingsport.

Public restroom facilities will be available at the Renaissance Center, Civic Auditorium and at Memorial Park behind Zoomer’s convenience store.

And, the Downtown Kingsport Association will ring in the Fourth of July with fireworks, food and fun, kicking off at 6 p.m. with a downtown concert opening act by Full Circle, followed by Benny Wilson at 8 p.m. Fireworks will then light the sky over Cement Hill in downtown Kingsport beginning at 9:50 p.m. All of the evening’s activities, including the concerts and the fireworks, are free.
