The Fiddlin’ Carson Peters is scheduled to perform on August 29, 2013 at Emeritus at Remington House just in time to go back to school.  The public is invited to join in the “Back to School” Family Night, celebrating the 2013/2014 school year.  Anyone who attends the celebration is encouraged to bring school supplies in lieu of money for their meal that night.

According to YouTube posting, “Carson Peters (a 9 year old fiddle player) recently played on The Tonight Show for Jay Leno and Betty White. Not only is he amazing but, he has excellent comedic timing. Someone sign this kid up in Nashville!”  “Emeritus at Remington House may not be Nashville, but we are delighted to have Carson Peters come and share his talent and comedy with residents, friends, families, and guests”, says Sherry King, Executive Director of Emeritus at Remington House, a premier Assisted Living community in the Tri-Cities region.  A family fun-style meal of chicken fingers, tator tots, corn on cob, desert and drinks will be served at 6pm, with a fun – Fiddlin’ performance by Carson Peters at 6:30pm.  The event will take place in the formal dining room.  What better way to bridge the age gap with students and seniors, than to have a “fiddlin’” good time with the “young at heart.”

Back to School Family Night is a night to celebrate the new school year and to collect school supplies for Rock Springs Elementary.  For reservations and more information about this event or to schedule a tour please contact Suzy Cloyd, Community Relations Director at 423-278-6347 or remingtonhouse-crd@emeritus.com.
